Police: Waterloo man showed up to apartment complex to do work drunk

Over the weekend police arrested a 45-year-old Waterloo driver on DWI charges following an investigation at a local housing unit.

Michael Green, 45, of Waterloo was charged with driving while intoxicated, and operating a vehicle with a BAC of 0.08% or more.

Police say the arrest stems from a report of an intoxicated male that drove to an apartment complex to make residential repairs to a housing unit.

Upon investigation, police identified the male as Green and determined he was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated case.

Police say Green was arrested and released with an appearance ticket. He’s scheduled back in court at a later date.
