Local reports from the Binghamton area say that a Farmington woman had to be airlifted to Upstate Medical Center after being involved in a crash along I-81 late-Tuesday afternoon.
According to WBNG, New York State Police confirmed that a 53-year-old Farmington woman had to be airlifted from the scene of a rollover crash along I-81 before the holiday.
The crash reportedly happened in the southbound lanes of I-81, between exits 7 and 8 – near Whitney Point.
The crash backed up traffic for miles, but the accident remains under investigation.
