Looking for something positive from this Syracuse football season? Sterling Hofrichter is still one of the best specialists in the country.
Hofrichter was named one of three finalists for the Ray Guy Award, the school announced on Monday. The Ray Guy Award is given annually to the nation’s top punter.
Hofrichter has punted 64 times this season for a 43.7-yard average, which ranks 37th in the country. Hofrichter also has an ACC-best 27 kicks downed inside the 20-yard line.
