Syracuse police say they have not received a report of an attempted abduction at Destiny USA, despite posts on social media claiming someone tried to abduct a girl.
Police say they’ve received several complaints about a suspicious person in the parking lot at Destiny USA on Monday around 6:15 p.m.
From their initial investigation, police say a mall patron reported a woman in the parking lot on the phone asking people to help with her vehicle.
Mall security was called to the area, police said, and the woman left the property.
Police say there has been no reported abduction or attempted abduction made to the police department and right now there is no threat or harm to anyone visiting Destiny USA.
