New online form created for reporting Social Security scams

The Social Security Administration and Office of the Inspector General say there is a new tool to fight against perpetrators conducting Social Security-related scams.

The agencies have created an online form, with which citizens can report scams. Information gathered through these reports will be used to help investigate frauds and scams.

Over-the-phone, text-based, online and in-person scams can be reported through the online tool.
