Shipley out, Cleere and Enslow in after absentee counts in Seneca County

Absentee Counts Mean Big Changes For Seneca County Board of Supervisors

Eight votes difference and the Seneca County Board of Supervisors will see a major shift after January 1st.

Current Chairman and Waterloo County Supervisor Robert Shipley will leave his post at the end of the year – barring unforeseen circumstances.

Democrat Jim Cleere and Republican Michael Enslow were the top vote getters after absentees were counted on Monday – finishing with 775 and 762 votes respectively.

Meanwhile, Shipley finished with 754 votes.
