Seneca Falls driver sent to Strong Hospital after crash on Auburn Road

SFPD Reports That Auburn Rd. Was Shut Down For 45 Minutes

Police say a medical emergency led to a one-car crash Saturday morning in Seneca Falls.

First responders were called to the scene around 10:15 a.m. for the crash, with one person trapped.

Members of the Seneca Falls Police and Fire Departments worked to free the operator – who was identified as Iva Adle, 72, of Seneca Falls.

Police say her vehicle left the roadway due to a medical emergency and struck a utility pole, which was snapped in half.

Adle was freed after some time and transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital.

The roadway was shut down for approximately 45 minutes as crews worked the scene.
