Police: Seneca Falls man charged with felony DWI after property damage accident overnight

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a 45-year-old man following a property damage accident on State Route 414.

The crash happened on Wednesday around 12:30 a.m., according to police, who responded to the scene.

Eric J. Sullivan, 45, of Seneca Falls was located inside his vehicle in the ditch alongside Route 414 when police arrived on-scene.

An investigation determined that Sullivan was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Police say that due to a prior DWI conviction – Sullivan was arrested on a new felony DWI charge, as well as a felony count of aggravated DWI for having a blood-alcohol content over 0.18 percent.

Sullivan was processed and transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center for arraignment.

No injuries were reported in a press release sent to media by the SFPD.
