One person suffers minor burns after fire in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that one person suffered minor injuries after a reported fire Friday night.

Police say firefighters were called to 2276 Lower Lake Road around 5:30 p.m. It was about 15 minutes after a female caller reported a fire to the 911 Center.

The Seneca Falls Fire Department quickly declared the fire under control, and noted that the fire was contained to a second-story bedroom.

Police said a woman was treated at the scene for minor burns.

No occupants were displaced because the fire was contained to a bedroom. An overloaded electrical outlet was to blame.
