The Waterloo Police Department reports the arrest of a Seneca County resident following a complaint related to a barking dog in the village.
James Duff Jr., 33, of Waterloo was charged with two counts of failure to provide proper sustenance to an animal and permitting a dog to be a nuisance.
Police say the charges stem from a complaint of a dog habitually barking inside a residence in the village.
Following an investigation – police found two malnourished dogs that had no access to food or water inside the home.
Officers were assisted by the Dog Control Officer and the dogs were surrendered to a local shelter.
Police say Duffy was issued appearance tickets for Village Court.
