Some frozen berries sold at Aldi recalled due to Hepatitis A contamination

Packages of frozen fruit have been recalled due to Hepatitis A contamination.

The bags of berries have been sold at Aldi and other locations. According to the company that issued the recall, a government sampling program tested for the virus and received a positive result for contamination.

There have been no reports of any illnesses. However, the recall was issued as a precaution.

The recall includes frozen raspberries sold under Aldi’s private labels and Aldi-branded frozen berry mixes. Health officials are urging people who bought these berries to return them to the grocery store.
