On November 3rd at approximately 7:45 p.m. deputies performed a traffic stop in the Town of Canandaigua along Route 5, which resulted in felony DWI charges.
Deputies say that 38-year-old Michael Rawleigh, of Lakeville was stopped for failing to keep right; and for failing to dim his high beams along Route 5.
After roadside investigation, deputies charged Rawleigh with driving while intoxicated. He was was taken to the Ontario County Jail for a breath test, where it was determined that he had a previous DWI conviction.
It made the most-recent charge a felony, according to deputies.
He was issued uniform traffic tickets and will answer the charges at a later date in Canandaigua Town Court.
