The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports an investigation into a two-car personal injury crash at the intersection of Penfield-Walworth Road and State Route 350 in the Town of Walworth, which resulted in two people being hospitalized with minor and serious injuries.

On November 1st at 6:56 p.m. a pickup truck operated by Rabelo Greene, of Clifton Springs attempted to make a left turn onto Penfield-Walworth Road at the intersection with Route 350, which resulted in a head-on collision.

An oncoming vehicle was operated by Michael Korbel, of Walworth, according to deputies, who say that first responders on-scene from the Walworth Fire Department were able to remove him from the vehicle.

Korbel and his adult passenger inside the vehicle were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries. An infant inside the vehicle was not injured in the wreck.

Greene did not report any injuries due to the collision, according to deputies. Two passengers in his vehicle were also not injured.

Deputies say Greene was issued traffic tickets at the scene.
