Police: Lyons man arrested on drug charges at Canandaigua City Pier

Police in Canandaigua report the arrest of a 33-year-old Lyons resident following a suspicious vehicle investigation at City Pier.

Police say that while an officer was patrolling City Pier – they located a vehicle that was parked after hours. Upon investigation it was determined that 33-year-old Ryan Smith, a Lyons resident was the occupant – and possessed 115 grams of marijuana, numerous concentrated THC cartridges, several packages of concentrated cannabis, and several Suboxone strips.



He was subsequently charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police say that Smith will appear in Canandaigua City Court to answer the charge.
