Geneva man faces felony charge after domestic incident

The Geneva Police Department reports the arrest of a city resident following investigation into a domestic incident.

Phillip Godbold, 32, of Geneva was charged with second-degree assault, a Class D felony, and held on $500 bail following that incident.

Police say Godbold is accused of striking another individual in the head with a dangerous instrument causing physical injury.

The condition of the victim was not released.
