One person was transported to the hospital after their car was stuck by a train.
The car was heading southbound on Main Street when it was struck by the westbound CSX train, according to the Fairport Police Department.
Fairport police say the driver was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. No one else was hurt.
Police believe the railroad signals were working correctly at the time of the crash and are investigating the cause.
