Police in Canandaigua report the arrest of a 43-year-old following a traffic stop, which was initiated due to observed speeding.
Police say that Joseph Barresi, 43, of Canandaigua was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, and several other vehicle and traffic violations.
It’s alleged that Barresi was speeding and committed several other vehicle and traffic infractions, which prompted a traffic stop.
Upon investigation it was determined that he was intoxicated.
Police say Barresi is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
