The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 23rd at 10:30 p.m. deputies arrested Jonathon A. Oliver, 21, of Groton on DWI charges.
Deputies report Oliver was observed at a high rate of speed on State Route 318 in the Town of Tyre.
After stopping the vehicle deputies determined that Oliver was intoxicated.
He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with a BAC of .08% or more, Open Container, and Speeding over 55mph.
Deputies say Oliver was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Town of Tyre Court on November 20, 2019 to answer the charges.
