Resident at Bath VA center admits to fentanyl possession

A Connecticut man pleaded guilty to possession of fentanyl.

Nolan Rogers, 32, faces up to a year in prison and a possible fine of up to $100,000.

Prosecutors say Rogers was staying at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Bath. In March, he returned to the facility after a trip home.

During a pat-down, 20 small bags were found in his pocket. Rogers said they held fentanyl.

Rogers is due to be sentenced in November.
