Police: Waterloo man accused of sexually abusing 4-year-old

A Waterloo man has been accused of sexually abusing a 4-year-old, according to reports out of Wayne County.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Casey Tourtellotte, 38, was charged with first-degree sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

The information was listed on the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office mobile app. The information listed in the Sheriff’s database indicates that Tourtellotte was charged on Thursday.

The Sheriff’s Office also indicates that officers from the Newark Police Department executed the arrest.

On June 27th the Newark Police Department, the Wayne County District Attorneys Office, and Wayne County Child Protective Services began investigating allegations of sexual abuse against a child, according to RochesterFirst.com.

A man described by police as an “acquaintance,” was accused of having sexual contact with that child “on or about” June 25th.
