On Sunday, the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team had some scheduling news released for next season. The team will play in the 2020 Gotham Classic, per Jon Rothstein. The Orange will square up against LSU at Madison Square Garden.

Syracuse last played in the Gotham Classic in 2012. The Orange dropped its first game of the season in that event, a 83-79 loss to Temple.
The game against LSU means that the Orange will continue to play in New York City on an annual basis.
