With Halloween right around the corner, law enforcement officers are sending reminders to citizens about holiday safety.
That includes the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, which will be holding its “Halloween Period DWI Crackdown” beginning Thursday, October 31.
The crackdown will last through November 3 and aims to reduce DWI and drunk driving incidents. The Sheriff’s Office will be working in conjunction with State Police and local other police departments.
Deputies also remind citizens to keep a watchful eye out for trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
