A Naples man had to be airlifted from the scene of a hiking accident in southern Ontario County on Tuesday.
Deputies say that 20-year-old Luke Nash was hiking up a trail off Sunnyside Road when an unknown accident occurred.
He suffered head and back injuries; and ENCON is now leading the investigation, according to Finger Lakes News Radio.
First responders from Naples, Middlesex, Rushville, and Cheshire all responded to the scene, along with Naples Ambulance.
The 20-year-old was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital following the incident in Clark’s Gully.
Clark Gully is located in Naples, Ontario County.
