The Canandaigua Police Department reports that they’re seeking the public’s help locating a suspect involved in an assault, which occurred on October 5th around 8:30 p.m.
Police say the assault took place in the area of Chapin and Beemis streets in the city.
A female victim was struck several times with a baseball bat and suffered minor injuries.
The suspect was wearing dark colored pants, a black hoodie, and a scarf, which covered their face.
The suspect then left the scene of the assault – heading southbound on Bemis Street.
