The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Wolcott man following a joint investigation involving deputies and New York State Parole.
Deputies arrested William C. Robinson, 39, of Wolcott on felony charges after they were called to his residence by New York State Parole Officers.
Robinson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The charges is a Class D felony.
Deputies say that Parole located a rifle while checking the residence. Robinson was held pending arraignment and will answer the charge at a later date in Wolcott Village Court.
