Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of two Rochester man on felony drug charges following an investigation.
Henderson says that Edwin Sanchez-Cruz, 23, and Michael T. Janes, 34, both of Rochester were held on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond after being charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.
The arrest took place on October 8th when the duo sold methamphetamine to two other people in the parking lot of a business located on North Main Street in the Village of Manchester. The vehicle that was occupied by the two defendants was stopped by investigators shortly thereafter and both were taken into custody.
Deputies say that additional drugs were recovered inside the vehicle during the stop.
