The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of a family dispute, which left a Waterloo woman charged with assault; and a victim pepper-sprayed.
Deputies say that on September 27th at approximately 9:30 a.m. they were called to the Fastrac and McDonalds in Ovid for a family dispute.
Following an investigation, deputies charged Heather N. Walsh-Forshay, 27, of Waterloo with one count of assault; and one count of unlawful possession of a noxious material.
Deputies say that both charges are misdemeanors, but that the incident left an unnamed victim pepper-sprayed.
As result, Walsh-Forshay was held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility pending arraignment. Deputies say that they were assisted by members of the South Seneca Ambulance team, and Waterloo Village Police Department.
