The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario man following an investigation initiated by Child Protective Services.
Robert B. Masker, 38, of Ontario was charged with first-degree sex abuse, course of conduct against a child, third-degree sex abuse, two counts of forcible touching, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies say that the investigation was initiated by Wayne County Child Protective Services in January 2018; and it was alleged that Masker had sexual contact with two children.
The kids were ages 12- and 14-years-old, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The alleged incidents are said to have occurred while the children were in his care at his home; and over several occasions over a three month period.
Masker was taken into custody on Friday and will answer the charges at a later date.
