Less than two years after a ransomware attack that left employees at Finger Lakes Health relying on paper-systems – it’s been confirmed by local reporting that the company is dealing with another ‘cyber incident’ this week.
The Finger Lakes Times reports that Finger Lakes Health was a victim of a ‘cyber incident’.
Details of that incident were not made immediately available to local outlets.
However, Lara Turbide — Finger Lakes Health’s vice president of community services – told the Times that their team was able to respond quickly and address the incident.
She described the scope of the incident as ‘limited’.
