On Wednesday at approximately 3:12 p.m. police arrested a 55-year-old Seneca Falls resident following a domestic incident that happened on Tuesday.
William P. Scutt, 55, of Seneca Falls is accused of subjecting a juvenile female to unwanted physical contact, which included the man placing his hands around the victim’s neck. He’s also accused of preventing her from escaping; and throwing her to the ground during the domestic incident.
Scutt was charged with endangering the welfare of a child; unlawful imprisonment in the second degree; criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment in the second degree. He was also arrested on a felony aggravated family offense charge due to prior convictions.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim. Scutt is due back in court at a later date.
