Growing potential in cannabis industry drives new SUNY program

Around that table, two students and Howard Rice, the instructional support assistant for the horticulture department at the college, use pruning shears to strip the flowers from the branches.

“It feels good after putting in the work all season to get to this point,” Rice said.
