On Monday, New York Attorney General Letitia James ordered 16 websites that make or sell guns or gun components to “cease and desist” selling near-complete assault weapons into New York State.
Companies often call these products “ghost guns” because they are virtually untraceable.
They do not require that the buyer hold a Federal Firearms License, not do they submit the buyer to a background check.
