Deputies: Waterloo driver resisted arrest while being taken into custody for driving while intoxicated

Deputies report the arrest of a Waterloo woman following a traffic stop in the Town of Ovid on September 19th.

Pamela J. Washak, 53, of Waterloo was stopped for speeding on State Route 96 in the Town of Ovid a little after 10 p.m., according to deputies.

Upon further investigation it was determined that Washak was driving while intoxicated. When Deputies attempted to place Washak in custody she resisted arrest, and had to be forcibly taken into custody.

Deputies say Washak was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with 0.08% BAC, Open Container, Speed over 55mph, and Resisting arrest.

Shewas processed and released with appearance tickets to a third party.
