Mixed use could be the future of Tom’s Mobil site in Canandaigua

Could there finally be an answer for Tom’s Mobil site in Canandaigua?

It seems there is optimism on the horizon, at least according to local reports. The Canandaigua Messenger says that the former gas station could be the site of a $12 million, four-story commercial and residential building.

Proposed developer, Christa Development tells The Messenger that “it’s a ‘dramatic linchpin’ to the lower block to downtown Canandaigua.”

They are the only developer who responded by the September 11th deadline set by the city. That’s how long developers and other interested parties had to set forward, or formalize their intentions with the site located at 267 South Main Street.

City Council is expected to discuss the development with developers at an upcoming meeting.
