Power restored after truck takes out utility pole in Ontario

Nearly 1,900 customers were without power in the Town of Ontario on Wednesday, according to RG&E.

The outages were reported during the mid-afternoon hours.

While a specific reason for the outage was not publicized by RG&E – a photo surfaced on Facebook, showing a truck, which took down a utility pole and power lines near Dunkin Donuts.

RG&E says power should be restored to most by 4:15 p.m.
