Skyscraper-sized asteroid passing Earth Saturday night, according to NASA

A asteroid estimated to be roughly 950 to 2,100 feet in size will pass by Earth around 7:54 p.m. on Saturday night, according to NASA.

Its size rivals some of the largest buildings on Earth.

NASA says that it will safely fly by nearly 3.5 million miles away from Earth, or 14 lunar distances. It is one of two asteroids passing our planet recently, as another roughly 400 to 850 feet in size flew by on Friday night.

You should be able to see the asteroid from a telescope, or by watching a free live stream hosted by Slooh, a robototic telescope service.
