Rookies Gavin Lux and Edwin Ríos homered and Clayton Kershaw continued his dominance over the Mets on Friday night in the Dodgers’ 9-2 win at Citi Field.
Lux capped a four-run fourth inning off Noah Syndergaard (10-8) with his second home run in 10 MLB games. Rios, pinch-hitting in the eighth, went opposite field with a two-run shot. Kershaw, 14-5 on the season, snapped a three-start losing streak and improved his career record against the Mets to 10-0 (4-0 at Citi Field).
