Police: Waterloo woman left scene of property damage crash, found to be intoxicated

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that a Waterloo woman was ticketed after leaving the scene of a property damage accident this week.

On Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. police arrested Amanda N. Mackenzie, 23, of Waterloo following the report of property damage crash.

It was determined that Mackenzie left the scene of the crash and went to the Wal-Mart parking lot where the incident was reported.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Mackenzie was operating her vehicle while intoxicated.

She was charged with leaving the scene of a  property damage crash, driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a 0.08% BAC or more.

Police say Mackenzie was processed and released on traffic tickets scheduling her to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on October 7th.
