The electric car maker Tesla sparked some excitement on Wednesday with the news of a new service center in Henrietta.
But, the town leaders quickly pulled the plug on the idea, at least for now.
Town leaders said they never received the necessary inspection needed for the facility to open up. The service center will remain closed until it gets an approval from the town.
However, people won’t be able to buy a Tesla in Henrietta. The company only sells cars online. This will be a service center to support current owners.
