KINGS OF NEW YORK: Buffalo Bills start season 2-0 after beating Giants, 28-14 (full coverage)

The Buffalo Bills went two-for-two at MetLife Stadium to start their season. After a slow start, they topped the Giants 28-14 to move to 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier in the week, head coach Sean McDermott called Saquon Barkley a “terrific challenge from a defensive standpoint.” Barkley started the game with four carries for 55 yards and a touchdown.

But the second-year running back only ran for 52 more yards for the rest of the game. The Bills defense clamped down on the Giants the rest of the way.

This was the second win in as many weeks for the Bills at Metlife Stadium after defeating the Jets last week.

PREVIEW:

It’s right back to New Jersey for the Bills in week two of the 2019 NFL season. And it’s a chance for the Bills to start a season 2-0 for the first time since 2014.

The Giants are coming off a 35-17 loss to the Cowboys last Sunday. The biggest takeaway from that game was how bad the Giants defense played. How bad was it? DeAndre Baker, Antonio Hamilton, Grant Haley, Antoine Bethea and Jabril Peppers all combined to allow 16 receptions on 16 targets against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense.
