The United States Vintage Grand Prix is back at Watkins Glen this weekend.
The Grand Prix festival celebrated the history of post-World War II road racing from 1948-1952.
One event attendee said this was a special time for her and the family.
“We just came up to watch the cars race, we stayed up at the campground,” said an event participant. “We love watching the race, it’s a good time, it’s really a lot of fun.”
The featured highlight of the festival is a tribute to the original Grand Prix races using the original 6.6-mile road course.
