Change is coming.
A facility that once processed cabbage in Ontario County has been purchased by a Farmington-based trucking company.
Leonard’s Express purchased the former GLK Foods manufacturing in July, according to officials with Leonard’s.
Michael Riccio, who serves as chief marketing officer for Leonard’s Express said that the purchase was facilitated out of need.
“Some of our customers are looking for warehouse service,” Riccio told The Canandaigua Messenger. “We’re growing and trying to diversify.”
Manchester Supervisor Jeff Gallahan said that local residents concerns were addressed; and that Leonard’s is being welcomed with open arms.
