Police: Waterloo man threatened physical violence at local restaurant

On Sunday at 10:07 p.m. police arrested a Waterloo resident following threats of physical violence.

The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of Brian K. McDermott, 36, of Waterloo following alleged harassment that took place at a local restaurant.

Police say McDermott threatened physical harm to another individual. His actions placed the victim in fear that the threats were going to be carried out and he would in fact receive physical injury.

McDermott was issued an appearance ticket for harassment in the second degree, a violation.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on October 3, 2019, at 5:30 pm to answer the charge.
