CDC recommends both nasal sprays, shots for kids ahead of flu season

The latest recommendations for children ahead of flu season were released Monday.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC are recommending nasal sprays this year, saying both the sprays and the flu shot can be used.

Neither organization is giving preference to one over the other.

Doctors say to start thinking about flu shots now.
