A masked suspect threatened someone in Ithaca with a machete in an attempted robbery early Sunday morning, according to Ithaca Police.
The incident happened around 2:21 a.m. in the 100 block of Oak Avenue.
Police say that the victim was able to escape without any injuries.
The masked suspect allegedly ran at the victim with a large machete demanding “property”, according to an initial investigation.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ithaca Police at 607-330-0000.
