Police have provided an update on the serious, two-car crash in Brutus, which happened Friday afternoon.
One person is dead, and two others are injured, according to Troopers.
Police say that the crash happened after a single driver crossed into the wrong lane on State Route 31 and hit another car with two occupants inside.
All three were taken to Upstate University Hospital.
One of the individuals involved in the wreck died, while another remains in critical condition. The third individual is listed in stable condition.
The investigation remains active.
