Starting Friday, gamblers will be able to place their bets on a sportsbook site at del Lago Resort & Casino.
The Seneca County casino has been working on a new venue for sports fans to place their bets.
The DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago is scheduled to open at 12 p.m. Friday with self-service wagering kiosks, cashier stations and a restaurant. TVs are set up, with live games, odds boards and a scrolling ticker for people to keep track of information.
The 6,000-foot sports gambling lounge will be open for the first week of the NFL season.
New York’s Gaming Commission approved sports betting for four casinos in June, including del Lago, Resorts World Catskills in Monticello, Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady, and Tioga Downs in the Southern Tier.
