Ontario County teen reported missing three times in a year now facing charges

A 17-year-old was reported missing three times within the last year. Now, she’s facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a staff member at Hillside Children’s Center in Hopewell, running away from the facility, stealing a car and driving three others to Rochester.

The teen, identified as 17-year-old Nicole Durkee, was arrested for robbery in the first degree and burglary in the second degree.

Deputies say Durkee along with the help of two unidentified minors assaulted a staff member, stole the victim’s facility keys and then attempted to steal their car keys before running away. Shortly after, Durkee went into an open garage of a nearby private residence and stole the car parked inside.

Durkee then allegedly drove the two other suspects in addition to 17-year-old Michael Lloyd, to Rochester. Deputies say Lloyd, who had also been reported missing along with Durkee back in July, didn’t take part in the assault but also ran away from the facility.

The two juvenile suspects and the stolen car were later found in Greece. Lloyd was also found in Greece and arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for being a passenger in a stolen car.
