The Geneva community is mourning the loss of a long-time leader.
Former Geneva Fire Chief Carlton Naegele passed away on Saturday. He was 94.
Naegele was appointed as chief in 1958 and retired almost 30 years later.
Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McGuigan Funeral Home in Geneva.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
