The Resiliency and Economic Development Initiative (REDI) will meet with local officials in several locations next week.
The committee will start in Oswego on Monday before heading to Albion and Greece on Tuesday and Wednesday.
REDI has been bringing together state experts and leaders from multiple lakeshore communities to figure out where they’re vulnerable and how they can protect themselves.
In places like Greece and Sodus Point REDI has gone over ideas like building new sea walls, sand dunes, and better pumping systems to clear flooded neighborhoods.
